As we approach Thanksgiving Day, we want to especially thank everyone reading these lines, because you have made such a difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Sudan in 2026.
Thank you for walking with us on this journey of service together.
As we gather to thank God for all He has done for us, please join us in asking Him how He would continue to work through Persecution Project to help our persecuted brothers and sisters in Sudan.
The current situation in the Nuba mountains is very serious. We can report that in the last few months, we have been successful in helping more than 10,000 displaced families receive emergency food and shelter items. But there are still many thousands more which have been affected by internal conflict and need assistance.

The security situation has been so bad, our team has lost access to many parts of the Nuba. Sometimes a window opens and we can slip in and conduct an outreach. But often we are stalled by declining security and risks to the safety of our staff.
But somehow, God has allowed us to continue to work and has thus far protected our team.
The rains are beginning to subside a bit, and by December, we should be able to access more areas to conduct Christmas distributions.

Your support has been the primary means God has used to serve these persecuted families. Almost no one else is there. Of the few organizations working in the Nuba, nearly all have suspended their operations because of the security situation.
In many locations, Persecution Project is literally standing alone with the Nuba Church. But where two or more are gathered in His Name, we know we’re never really alone. And we have you… which has been a life-saver (literally) for so many.
Right now, we’re working to get relief and shelter items to 2,500 additional families by Christmas. The cost to provide a tarp, mosquito net, blanket, emergency food, and other relief items is about $100 per family. This means we need to raise $250,000 in the next couple of weeks to meet this need.
As you celebrate Thanksgiving with your family this year, please remember to pray for the persecuted church. Even though you can’t welcome them around your table, you can keep them in your heart and in your prayers.
I pray the included photos of our latest outreaches encourage you in your prayers and remind you of how appreciated and important your partnership is with us… and how many lives have been impacted by your love.
Keep Them in Your Heart and in Your Prayers
