The newly constructed maternity ward at Dr. Ahmed Zakariah’s Gigaiba Referral Hospital in the Nuba mountains has the capacity to provide in-patient treatment to as many as 60 mothers and babies at a time. Persecution Project has budgeted $75,000 to provide the new ward with all the beds, mattresses, and other important furnishings.
