Persecution Project Foundation, in conjunction with local pastors, has distributed 6,500 audio Bibles to Nuba residents in 2021. A majority of those were delivered during our June outreaches to three counties: Delami, Heiban, and Umdorein. Pastors from nine different denominations received audio Bibles to hand out to members of their congregations and communities.
The pastors were very grateful for the units they received, pledging to commit even more efforts towards local evangelism. The pastors stated that more and more people are interested in receiving their own audio Bible.
A second distribution of audio Bibles occurred in mid-September, targeting four Nuba counties. The accompanying photos came from this most recent outreach. Getting the Word of God into the hands of the Nuba people is vitally important. The Word transforms, encourages, and brings hope, healing and life. As II Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
