People not only need medicine for their bodies, but they need it for their souls as well. Persecution Project’s Ed Lyons recently visited the Nuba mountains and distributed hundreds of Audio Bibles. These solar-powered units are smaller than a smart phone, but carry the Good News of Christ to “everyone with ears to hear.”
“As I was combining an early walk with my daily devotions – listening to the Gospel of John on one of the In Touch audio Bibles we brought to the Nuba, I was approached by two men who had been cutting bricks in the cool of the morning. One pointed at the audio Bible and said, ‘We need these devices!’ When I showed them how the audio Bible worked, they realized I was about to give them the one I was listening to. Suddenly a great big smile broke out on each man’s face. An hour later, as I passed their way again, they were still soaking in God’s Word as they continued working.”
Many thanks to our ministry partners who have contributed so generously to our Discipleship and Evangelism program, as well as Galcom International and In Touch Ministries for donating several thousand audio Bibles at reduced or no charge.
