2021 Christmas Outreaches

Pastor Morris assists in distributing shelter tarps.

We have been blessed to receive more photos from our Christmas outreaches to the war-torn Nuba mountains region of Sudan. Your “active compassion” has been changing lives by delivering much-needed relief and shelter items to thousands of returnees who have fled other parts of Sudan to find safety and freedom in the Nuba.

We hope these photos encourage you as you see how your giving made a difference in 2021. We hope to increase your impact in 2022. As you read these lines, our Safe Water team is already busy preparing for another year of repairing broken well pumps. In 2021, 85 broken pumps were repaired and now provide safe water to at least 85,000 people (as well as livestock).

Our relief and shelter outreaches blessed at least 21,000 families, many of them new returnees from other parts of Sudan impacted by a general economic collapse, as well as security concerns due to the recent military coup.

Perhaps most gratifying are the reports from our on the ground church partners, who keep us updated on the success of Bible and audio-Bible distributions. In 2021, Persecution Project provided scriptures to 27,600 Nuba families.

This is your love in action. When you open your heart to give, lives are not only saved… they’re changed.

Thank you for your giving in 2021. We look forward to continuing our solidarity together with the persecuted in 2022!
